Basics of Peer Mentoring Seminar

The Guidance and Counseling Program and Student Activities Program of the Office of Student Affairs conducted a free seminar last 3 December 2012 at the OSA Conference Room, 4/F Student Center from 1:00-5:00pm. The seminar, delivered in 2 sessions, was entitled: “Basics of Peer Mentoring”. The resource speakers of the event was Ms. Christine Gomez (Philippine Foundation for Cultural and Educational Development) and Prof. Betty Evio, M.A. (CN).
The Participants of the activity were UPM students, from Blocks 3, 6, 7, 14, 15, 16, and 25. The Topic Proper involved an orientation of the relevance and practice of Peer Mentoring, as pertinent to college students/adolescents. The talk likewise guided the students through an exercise identifying their strengths and career plans.
