The Association of Parents-Counselors of UP Manila, Inc. (APC-UPM, Inc.) proudly announces the 2013-2014 Educational Assistance Grants of up to PhP 18,000.00/semester.
Only students belonging to bracket D, E1 and E2 will be entertained:

1st priority: Bracket E2 students whose applications for stipend have been denied,and
Bracket E2 full scholars, former APC scholars, Orphans, Indigents

Job Bonanza 2013:" A Day with Government Agencies"

The Office of Student Affairs-Guidance & Counseling Program invites you to a Seminar entitled "Job Bonanza 2013: A Day with Government Agencies" on February 22, 2013 (Friday) at 9:00 a.m,Conference Room 4th Floor Student Center Building Padre Faura, Ermita, Manila.

A representatives form the different government agencies such as SSS, NBI, NSO, etc., were invited to discuss membership, processes, benefits and etc. There will also be a processing of papers and as such, students, UP-PGH Personnel and other interested individuals are invited.

Job Bonanza 2013: "A Seminar on Increasing Job Search Success"

The Office of Student Affairs-Guidance & Counseling Program in cooperation with Smart Communications, Inc. is inviting seniors/graduating and other interested students to a seminar entitled Job Bonanza 2013: A Seminar on Increasing Job Search Success on January 25, 2013 (Friday) at 1:00-4:00 p.m at the Conference Room, 4th Floor Student Center Padre Faura Street, Ermita, Manila. Modules on power personality, interview skills, resume making will be handled by Mr. Christopher Calangi, a senior community care specialist from Smart.

Basics of Peer Mentoring Seminar

The Guidance and Counseling Program and Student Activities Program of the Office of Student Affairs conducted a free seminar last 3 December 2012 at the OSA Conference Room, 4/F Student Center from 1:00-5:00pm. The seminar, delivered in 2 sessions, was entitled: “Basics of Peer Mentoring”. The resource speakers of the event was Ms. Christine Gomez (Philippine Foundation for Cultural and Educational Development) and Prof. Betty Evio, M.A. (CN).

Life Coaching: Why it Matters?

The Office of Student Affairs- Guidance and Counseling Program conducted a free seminar entitled: “Life Coaching: Why it Matters” last 26 November 2012 at the OSA Conference Room, 4/F Student Center from1:00-5:00pm. The resource speaker of the event was Ms. Navie R. Velora, M.A.. (President, Philippine Association of Life Coaches, Inc). The Participants of the activity were selected Faculty, Admin and REPS with GCP practicumers and UPM student assistants.
