Effective academic year 2014-2015, the Socialized Tuition System 2013 (STS2013) will replace the Socialized Tuition and Financial Assistance Program (STFAP) of the University. Job Bonanza 2014: A Seminar on Increasing Job Search Success

The Guidance and Counseling Program of the Office of Student Affairs is inviting all third year and graduating students of UP Manila to a seminar that will cover topics on resume-making, interview skills, power dressing and update on job hunting on January 30, 2014 (Thursday) from 1:00-4:00 p.m at the Conference Room, 4th Floor, Student Center Padre Faura Street, Ermita, Manila.

Nowcasting Competition

The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) launched the Nowcasting Competition to encourage students to get involved and interested in nowcasting through hindsighting and create models that will accurately predict rainfall using the Weather Research Forecasting (WRF) as baseline model.

The ABS-CBN Foundation through Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig will hold its country's biggest running event - the Run for the Pasig River - an annual gathering aimed at raising public awareness and generating revenue for the rehabilitation project. This is part of the Grand Kapamilya Weekend celebrating ABS-CBN's 60th Anniversary and simultaneous run - "One Run. One Philippines: Isang Bayan Para sa Kalikasan". The CHED is enjoining all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in NCR to support this project.
